Quiet place, sounds of daily farmlife

Booking through Agriturismo was very quick and easy. This place promptly forwarded information on directions, local ammenties, and things to do which were very useful. It's an easy walk into the town of Cinigiano, a little up hill but about 15 - 20 minutes at a slow pace. A straightforward 1.5 hour road trip north of Rome we even managed to find our way in the dark. Paolo had a wonderful fire going to welcome us - combined with some fabulous local wine available for sale in the apartment (at very reasonable prices) we settled in very quickly. Nonno Meo was perfect for our family of 5, including two very big teenage boys. All the beds were very comfortable and had plenty of warm bedding for people use to a tropical climate. We slept so well. The well equipped kitchen encouraged us to cook 2 of our 4 nights there - using delicious local produce. Two bathrooms made it much easier also with 5 people. Paolo also recommended the local restaurant "Rintocco" which was absolutely fantastic - we ate there our other 2 nights. The location was very quiet, we were the only people there at this time (mid december 2009)but the layout of the property would help maintain privacy even in busy times. Cinigiano is a wonderful town which we hope to get to know better one day soon. The 3 local alimentari are great for stocking up on wonderful meats, chesses, fruit, bread, eggs, jam, and anything else you need for your stay. Thank you Paola & Angela - we can't wait to come back!

We stayed in the villa called Nonna's. It was even prettier than the pictures, as were all the houses.And well furnished and private. The countryside is gorgeous, romantic, and very walkable.Paulo and Angela, the owners, are such nice people that they even though it was the last minute and they were booked the next day, they found us another sweet place when we decided to stay another day. Ask Paulo to show you to the little restaurant in Cinigiano. Fab food and vino! One little caution, no one speaks English, but they will figure out what you need. This is the real Italy!

A mio avviso è un posto nel quale mi sono trovato molto bene, buona l'accoglienza, ottima la struttura, la quale rispecchia in pieno la ruralità delle dimore di una volta!! consigliato a tutti i quali vogliono staccare la spina e trovarsi fuori dal mondo.

ein sehr schön eingerichtetes typisch mediterranes Ferienhaus mit Flair inmitten eines Olivenheines, die Eigentümer sehr freundlich , und nur selten anzutreffen..Natur pur, ideal für Ruhebedürftige.

Tranquillo, confortevole, silenzioso... L'ideale per una settimana romantica all'inizio della primavera (era il mese di marzo), ma anche per un soggiorno più lungo in un periodo più 'turistico'.

Lovely location, interesting places to visit nearby, quiet site amongst other agriturismos with some degree of privacy. Helpful owners.
